shock question
« on: November 20, 2002 - 10:27:17 PM »
has anybody used summit adjustable front shocks with good results? I just bought a pair they seem to be adjustable in rate from firm to soft equally in both compression and rebound but not soft up and hard down as a drag shock should be. does any body know what i mean? ???WTF
thanks

I think either summit or mancini carries the Rancho 9 way adjustable shock that adjusts for jounce and rebound. They are about $79 each though.

Drag shocks are a different deal , most adjustables adjust firmness in both directions as you found out ' Drag shocks adjust the rise rate from 50/50 to 70/30 to 90/10  being 90% of the resistance in down & 10 % up
