Hey it was sold as a mopar!
« on: October 10, 2005 - 04:01:19 PM »
Last night , I was online and found out that the first car that I drove was really a mopar( even though it was british ! and came with a " ferd v-8 in the tiger edition !) But it was marketed by chrysler corp
Does that "ferd" thing make it a bad thing ? ? ?
Heres the add :
" the question isn't  when is he going to stop, but whose gonna stop him!"

If I remember correctly and Nick at Night can probably verify.
Would you believe that Maxwell smart drove a Sunbeam Tiger in the open of the early shows as he screeched to a halt in front of headquarters.
I always new agent 86 was a Mopar Man

You sir , are correct ! ! ! Ain't the the coolest sh_t ? ? ? I drove mine in 1975 for the first time. I was actually my dads at the time . He bought it from my sisters husband back in 1969 ( nice year !) for $100.oo .
It wasn't a tiger, but it was a ball to drive ! I'd love to find another '68 Alpine in restorable shape! I loved driving that doodlebug ! ! !
