baby's 1st kill
« on: August 10, 2002 - 08:46:26 AM »
i let my 20 year old son take CUDA for a night rip. He came in around 10:30 glowing & began telling me of his first real kill.

He came off the highway onto Carling Ave (our local famous strip of the 70"s) only to find an orange 69 camaro with a 3" cowl pull up beside him. The 2 eyed each other & smiled but only pulled away easy around the bend to the straight in the road. The mopar gods must of been smiling & gave them a red light, no traffic, no cops. With street tires on he loaded up the 3000 stall convertor to hook up & lauched on green. I had the shift light set at 5400rpm. When the yellow flashed it nearly binded him. he had only seen it from the passanger seat. He banged the B & M mega shifter into second, chirpped the tires & continued pulling, flash, shift to 3rd & look. A 1 1/2 car length victory.

They stopped at the next light & the crapmaro guy said his wasn't running right. Arn't they all.

nice one Ryan.
