Hey oldschool, what does your car pull in the 1/4 in good conditions?

1st--Thanks Cuda......

NZ---The ole girl will pull 10:30's @ 137 mph on any given day just like she sits.  I can make 2 changes and put her in the nines.  All on pump gas.  Here are a few stats on the ole girl:

528 Hemi--Not a crate engine
775 Hp @ 6000 and 703 lb/ft torque
3800 converter/727 w/ tranny brake--Dana w/4:10 gears
Ray Barton Crossram w/2 750 Holley's
Eagle crank & rods w/ Wiseco 10.5 pistons
Indy CNC billet Ported polished aluminum heads
Comp Cams roller
Bunch of other go-fast stuff, but you get the idea.

I can switch the 3800 converter for a 5500 converter and switch the 4.10's for some 4.88's and it will go 9:80's
That stilll leaves switching the 750's for 1050 Dominators, removing the exhaust system, etc....to get even quicker.
I won't do that stuff because it is a handful on the street now......but I could........................Oldschool

Perfect drietrain IMO, so it could go very low 9's possibly high 8's on the right day, VERY impressive.

Street driven too, the best part. :-)

That's an awesome story, 73BB440! 

And Old School, that '69 of yours is just downright nasty!!  (it reminds me of a black '68 Fastback that resides around the Naperville, Illinois area.  I believe it's been in several magazines and we've talked with the owner about the entire setup.  Basically, he told us the Hemi was based off another car of his that'll do 10.30's no problem.  He then proceeded to let us know that he has yet to run the '68 down the track because he went even more with its engine than the car that'll run in the lower 10's and that the other car is a B-body, while this is a mostly gutted '69 Barracuda. (can't remember what his other car was.)  When he fired that thing up, about 5-6 turns before the batteries had enough juice to start the 13.5:1 Hemi, the street was thumping! (and Ricers were running.)

hey 73bb440,there are posibly 2 things wrong with that mustang, 1st, he  cant drive for s#$t, 2nd, he is lyin about 375 rwhp,  maybe a  351 smog motor,  my friends 89 mustang, built 351, dynoed at 380 rwhp, car weighs at 3300 lbs. runs 1150's , 118-120 mph, with a 373 gear,  and no power adders!!!
