Forgive me all, for I have, in the past, removed a couple of Challengers and finished off a 73 Cuda from the car world....But as it was not in vain nor in hatred....for these cars have helped out so that others may once again live!
I couldn't even give away the shell of the 70 Challenger, so I had no choice but to (gulp) cut it up.....(gasp)
I took almost all that I could have taken from it....I got it given to me as a nearly stripped out shell....I found more to use!
I bought a 72 Challenger that was in a really bad front end collision in the early 80's.....The guy that I bought it from, was moving around his yard with his bucket loader, so what was still good years ago, was severly damaged while he was moving it around......I bought it and parted it out....kept some parts and made some $$ also.....
The 73 Cuda was half way stripped when I got it.....I just finished it off.....though the tub is making the trip down the highway back to Michigan.....gonna use it to restore the 72 340 4 speed car that is down there....the tub has no rust in the cowl section at all, the windshield area has surface rust and the floors are great!
My hope is that with all that I have sacrificed, that by using the parts from these cars, that I will atone for my sins against the Ebody gods!
