Thanks Chryco but you wouldn't read about it....a local "eBay" type auction site in New Zealand has one on there.
Never seen one on there in my life! When you adverstise, ask people for parts, and search they show up next door.
If you still want to send photos of your shifter (Mechanisim only) I may still be interested.
Here's the NZ site with the shifter:

I have a 71-4 Slap-Stick shifter. Do you have a good 70 shifter that you want to switch to the 71-4 T-handle? I took it out of my Hemicuda when I bought it to put in the correct 70 shifter- See pix below.

I'm interested in that cooda! What are you asking mate? I'll need EXPRESS shipping on those bad boys!
I can pay by Paypal, and if worst came to worst Bidpay.
I am getting a custom tilt grip made by HARMS but for the 71-74 style as the handle is skinnier like the 4-Speed handles, not round like the 70.
Here is my custom drawing I done for HARMS to make.
Cheers,
Carl

E-mail me privately and I can tell you about the pieces.

. I have no idea what it costs to ship to New Zealand, or what way is the best.
