Thanks for all the comments. I will definitely be keeping the slant six in it, as I said, I just want to make a few upgrades to make it a more enjoyable daily driver. I also know how you feel Russ, I bought my first e-body when I was 15 it was a 70 challenger r/t 440-six pack four speed shell that had a 318 auto in it at the time. It was my first car and was really really rough, floor boards and trunk were about gone, quarters and fenders were rusty, mice had taken care of the front buckets and it probably shouldn't have been on the street in the condition it was in, but when your 16 you want to drive your first car. Well, about 6 months after turning 16 and after having been pulled over by the same cop five times (he was trying to convince me to sell him the car) Dad decided it was time to let it go to someone who had the money to put it back into the condition it deserved to be in. So, $1,500.00 later, I was driving a 78 Plymouth Fury 4 door and the challenger had a new owner. Kinda hurts to think about how much that car would be worth today even in the poor condition it would be in by now. I will try to dig up some pictures of it and post them here when I get the chance.
