Scumacher conversion Hemi mounts
« on: November 02, 2005 - 12:13:01 PM »
Hey guys got a question. I have a Hemi block (prior to crate motor Hemis) and I am using stock exhaust. I cannot clear the oil tensioner on the drivers side. I emailed this same picture to the guys at Schmacher and Mike says the extra hardware coming off the tensioner is not something he has ever seen. How about anybody out there?. I had the engine built over 6 years ago and don't think guys who did it are still around. As best I remember this is an MP piece. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Smitty

I have the schumacher mounts and they clear no problem, but as said, I dont have that setup on my oil pump either, and I've never seen one like it.

Can you find another pump or at least the original style part?

that is the Milodon adjustable oil pressure regulator , you can either make a hole in the mount to clear it or replace it with the stock cap on the oil pump with the black higher pressure oil pump bypass spring
