found disconnected wires

I was pulling the rear wiring harness today, and there were 2 disconnected wires. One was dark green the other black. They went from the trunk to a coupling under the drivers side dash. Anyone know what these are (were)?

rear defog?or possibly rear speaker , the speaker wires were green & blk

There doesnt seem to be any rear defroster equipment, and there are two speakers in the package tray. Did all challengers originally come with only one rear speaker? The package tray steel doesnt look like it was hacked to fit the two speakers.

they should have 2 speakers , si there 2 sets of similar wires ?

Nope.  The whole rear end wiring harness is out, as is the interior, and I have not found another set of similar wires. Oh well.
