hurricane wilma
« on: November 03, 2005 - 06:52:55 PM »
finally got my power on late last nite after being out for 10 days.. roof tile broke the windshield of the intrepid and put a large dent in my daughters quarter panel.. but the cuda and crossfire were safe in the garage.. estimated winds were 100 to 120mph in south florida..  finally getting back on line to read the latest on this site.. it sucks taking cold showers, generators running 24/7 and missing web sites like this one..

That one was a doozy, wasn't it!  We have family and friends down there in the same kind of conditions.  Well, if you're able to get online...then things are looking up, right? Glad you came through it safely!

Where in so fla are you?
I'm in boynton beach, lost my screened in patio, my a/c unit blew away, I watched as my neighbor's wooden fence flew over my cordoba, but all the cars came through untouched, a miracle.

Coral Springs.  I was pretty lucky with only broken roof tile.. Neighbors lost windows, pool enclosures, and of course the tree damage is incredible.
