Back in 1977, I bought a new Z28 Camaro when they first came out. I was shocked when I took the center cap off of one of the wheels and it was stamped "made in mexico". I found out later that a lot of the parts on that car were made in mexico.
You just didn't expect that back in the 70's. Up until then, I had always taken pride in knowing that our cars and their parts were made in the U.S. and Canada.

When it comes to reproduction parts, I am just glad that somebody reproduces the part, where ever it comes from.
