Steering gear box

Has anyone powdercoated the gear box before or attempted to? I was wondering if any seals or anything like that would be affected by the heat.

I have not tried it But we did an 8 3/4 housing & I purposly left the axles seals in place , they did not burn or even harden ,t eh heat process is fast & doesn`t heat everythign to the extreme temps , it just flashes the paint & melts it ... so it Should work
