    another sweet Mopar deal missed in DFW

    I just saw this on a local DFW Mopar website. The car sold within a week - I can't believe this one got past me. Sublime 70 Cuda vert for $25K. It sure looks like it would have been a good deal. The ad read

    "FOR SALE:

    That what I was thinking. He did have it priced right for a 318 car but the original engine isnt stated (we know it wasnt a 360). Being a 70 vert, that car could be cloned to be worth 2X-3X than that.

    I think with the market the way it is most vert owners realize that potential value is a great lever in maximizing their selling price. I wouldnt have been surprised to see that car selling on Ebay for $35k - $45k. I am a still fresh on the mopar scene, but I have never seen a vert that "looked" that good with such a low price tag.   

    Rustbucket? Maybe. Judging from the pics though it was one clean rustbucket!

    Mike - I saw the ad on the CMPT website and thought it was a great deal!  I thought about getting it for a future Hemi clone project, but decided I did not need another project at this time.

    I thought that it would be a good deal, as long as it was solid underneath with no major issues.

    As a side comment, man I hate those exhaust pipes, reminds me of wheelbarrow handles!   LOL

    you would of thought thay would of took the time to mask off the blower motor when that painted the car   and hook up the heater hose to at least look more coreccet   and what is up with all the lil add on gages?
