Hey Woody9512.   Its sounds like you have a cool car.  If you live approx an hour from London,  I know a great guy who can assist in rebuilding that engine (if needed).  I believe he is currently restoring a 68 Camaro.    Only problem is he panicks when he torques cylinder heads too tight (thank god there was someone around  for support that day).   I also know a guy who just bought a 71 340 engine recently near the Toronto area.   It was sad to see him shake uncontrollably when he was paying the man.  It was a sore sight.  Let me know if you need help.

Hey Balljoint:
I guess if a guy is going to rebuild a "CHEVY" a Camaro is the way to go. Anyways nice to see a mechanic that had made a slight slip up actually had a trauma support person right there on scene to assure him that everything will be OK!!!
Same goes for paying for a "MOPAR" engine....I think they call that tackie-syckie...when a guy shakes uncontrollably under stress / maybe he was just shocked at the price and it got worse as he pasted the bills over...and over...and over..to the guy!!!
Anyway how is this engine building guy as to available time?? I assume if he's rebuilding a "Chevy" that will keep him pretty busy???

I plan on having the Camaro complete by Christmas........................Christmas of 2009,  so time is not really a factor,  I have plenty of it.
