How can you tell its the orignal matching engine?

Do you go you go by the last 6 digits of the vin or sequence number? Because I cant tell if it is. The vin is WS23U1G125447 and I dont know what numbers I'm suppose to see if it matchs on the block.

You are looking for the last 8 digits. You should be looking for 1G125447.

If my eyes are corect the top photo of you post showing the id pad is correct with your VIN.

125447.......
