Redline, Love the mopar chick T-shirt, How cool is that? Start em young.
My nephew was helping me dissasemble mine when he was only 8. He's almost 11 now, and a full blown Mopar nut (no joke) :ylsuper: He's already talking about buying his first Challenger, or Cuda, or Dart, or Charger etc.....etc............Still hasn't made his mind up yet, though he's edging towards a Challenger :clapping: He's already saving up. His father has a 68 Camaro :eek4: Life is good sometimes :bananasmi

Hate to be the bad guy and take emotion out of it, but if you can get the car for less than you know it is worth, regardless of whether you owned it before or not, buy it.  That is just smart money.  If you have to pay top current market, I have a feeling the romance of having it back would quickly be replaced by the financial stress of having it.  I don't know how long ago you sold it, or what you sold it for, but very possibly in this guys mind the car isn't worth nowhere near what it was when he got it since motor is toast.  Not everyone follows closely how older cars appreciate.  Not many, but a few people see them depreciate as they drive them as they would an every day driver.  Keep us posted!!
