New member, intro. / 1973 Barracuda
« on: November 26, 2005 - 03:42:17 PM »
Hello folks, and thanks for let'n me join in. I recently got a hold of a 1973 Barracuda with the standard 318 & 904 tranny. Well I just could'nt let things alone, so i've made a "few" modifications.I was really going for the "sleeper" look, I think I failed. The 1st pic shows my Barracuda as it was purchased along with the progress of the work.

Welcome to the site.
Nice car, but I don't think you are going to fool anybody with it.  It looks like my buddies car, same color and wheels, but his is a '70.

Welcome to the site. Your car is anything but a sleeper. It looks like it's wide awake.

Welcome to the board Flores!  I think you completely failed on the sleeper idea!!  The car looks mean and intimidating.  Nice job and very well done!

By the way...we are in the process right now of voting for our 2006 Cuda-Challenger.com calendar.  All members, regardless of point count, are allowed to vote...so got vote!!

Nice Cuda! I like that air cleaner, it looks alot better than the Mr. Gasket one I always see on duel carb setups.

Nope, I'm going to have to agree....you missed the sleeper look by about 20 miles.

I see your "318" has those "easy to reach" spark plugs.  That must've sold you on that engine alone!  Didn't think you wanted that engine for its horse power!  LOL!

Welcome to the site!  I'd have to say that you changed the car's appearance just a bit with that Hemi under the hood. =)

Thanks for all the nice comments on my Barracuda. The car was just finished about a month ago & it runs real good! I've got to tell you guys, the power of this thing scares me.Power comes from a 1957 392 Hemi and the trans. is a 727 torqueflite. Thanks again!
