no , there are 2 splines 10 & 29 so youi need to check the size of the nut , 1 1/4 " is 10 spline , 29 is 1 5/16 or bigger

Looks like the 489 posi chunk i bought on Epay a year ago has a 1-1/4 nut and the one on my GC has a 1-1/18 nut,Would these be the same spline count? So could i just swap the yoke from the one in the car to the Posi Chunk?
thanks

possibly itr will work , if they are 489 carriers they have a crush sleeve & retorquing the nut you need to be very careful retorqueing the nut so you get enough brg preload without over crushing the sleeve

well I prefer the 742 carrier , & find one with a yolk the size you need , or pay a low enough price to replace the crush sleeve with a spacer
