BIGSHCLUNK ...can you find out what motor was in it? Was it an R/T ? Just curious which model was permanently reduced by 1.

It was not an R/T as it was a 71 and 70 was the only year a Challenger R/T was available(here's hoping this will change in 07 though).

with the damage all over like that you have to think it might have been rolled? Those are some fat rear tires on it and one of the pics looks like a rear panel was originally green. Its hard to see anyone walking away from damage like that. I hate to see another Chally riding off into the sunset and more important I hope the driver and occupants came thru it ok

The car appeared to be a small block. Most likely a 318 car, it was a G code vin.  Could be a rollover , cruzin' fast out in the nevada desert is not uncommon. In November I was on I-15 north of Vegas doin about 90.... people psaaing like I was standin' still.

they did have one under the hood shot - at least whats left of it, looked like the carb an intake were removed.

1BADFISH you must be a resistered dealer on Copart to get past the first layer of the site....

MOPARCLOWN agreed a little alchohol probly would have slowed the react time, even so often when things get that bad not even seat belts matter much.

It just occured to me I hope I didn't gross anyone out or anthing. If I did please take no offense. It was just another fine old MOPAR that will end up shedded.
70 Chally R/T Convertible- Yes she's really got a HEMI, no she's not a Charger!
