Have you ever entered the Mopar Twilight Zone?? DO-DO-DO-DO DO-DO-DO-DO!
~You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead— your next stop, the Mopar Twilight Zone!~

Earlier this past month, a member here posted some pics of a previous car of mine that now belongs to his neighbor.....

Last nite, the Mopar Twilight Zone got even stranger....I was skipping around on eBay and was searching under Roadrunners and stumbled across another familiar car....My 71 Roadrunner! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4592260073&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
I asked the seller a question about the VIN and it came back as my old car.....I spoke with the seller about it, and told him that whoever buys it, that I would like to be in correspondence with him and keep tabs on the car....Very wierd!!

Rod Serling would be proud!

On a similar note , ,,
Many years ago I sold my '70 383 4-speed Cuda to this guy . I had seen it around a couple times on the road , then nothing for about a year. One day, while out trolling around for , , , something , I happened to go by this dealership and there in the side lot , way in the back was what looked like my car.
I stopped and looked ,sure enough, it was her , burried up to the frame in the mud . I asked the dealer and he said the junkman was coming to pick it up, they had caught the carb. on fire and couldn't get it to start ever since. I asked him if he'd sell it to me , he said make an offer, I said $500.oo , he said sold ! Heres the best part, I poped the hood, and found that the Ballast resister had one wire disconnected. I hooked it up, cranked the motor and it started right up! I drove the car home . You should have seen the look on the dealers face when that car started ! ! !
I guess it was just meant to be.
DO-DO-DO DO!

So did you keep it this time, or sell it again?

Cool story, though.

Finding your old car again and buying it . . . $500.00.  Getting it to start after many people try . . . Priceless!  Cool story!!

On the sadder side,I was racing a porshe ( sp?) down a back road in late November( winning , by the way), in the middle of the night, and hit black ice on a curve, Nailed a tree at about 40 m.p.h. on drivers side fender right behind the front tire, broad side about 60 degrees towards firewall, bent the crap outta the frame. I walked away. About 15 seconds later, the porshe hit the same ice and hit the woods about 25 feet after I did! We pushed him out. The guy was very cool though, he lived about five minutes up the road. He drove home , got his truck and towed me the rest of the way home.
We may not all have the same taste in cars, but , sometimes, respect goes a long way!My sisters husband, GOD rest his soul, also walked away , unharmed!
He was killed by a drunk driver about a year later.
Do-do - do do! ! ! !

Mark,
It was sounding like the seller was wanting to reunite the car with me, but I already have too many irons in the fire, and may have to thin some out as it is, besides I couldnt afford it....but believe me, it was hard to say no....
