Thanks for the info Glen.  I remember when you posted that you were going to have to put Nanook down.  I thought it had happened already and I am not good with things like that so I never asked what happened.  I didn't want to upset you.  I am SO HAPPY to hear that he is still with you and that his cancer is gettig better.  I can't think of any better news!  Give him a BIG kiss and hug for me ad tell him he has an Aunt April who will pray that he stays well.  I am so glad you tried this alternative medicine.  Cn we have some more Nanook pics?  Please?
We want pictures of Muggsey too!! How is he doing? The pills doing the trick? Sure hope so! I wish you the best of everything for you and your little buddy!

Here's a few I took just 10 minutes ago, he likes to lay out front of the house and just watch cats or anything else he can catch a glimpse of.

Awwwwe, thanks Glen for posting pics of Nanook for us!  He still is a beautiful boy!  You can tell he has been loved!  I thik I have a few of my Muggsey on this computer. He has been doing well on his meds.  He has been acting really puppy-ish, which he hadn't done in a while.  We still have to watch him very closely  and will have to for the rest of his life.  A slight symptom such as bad poopie (as MEK likes me to call it) can quickly lead into what they call Acute Addison's Crisis which can be deadly, but for the most part the disease is very manageable.  I actually learned today that John F. Kennedy suffered from Addison's Disease since he was a boy.  Who knew!  Here are the pics!  Enjoy.  (The dogs also have a website: www.angelfire.com/me4/muggseyandvixxen check it out!)

Hey April, I know all about dog problems and vet bills. My dog Enzo (he's a Cane Corso/Italian Mastiff..lol), is about 5 months old. He's really healthy and full of energy but he has been eating everything he can put in his mouth. He actually ate and passed his whole collar, buckles and everything..lol. Anyway, he was really sick about a week ago and my girlfreind called me all worried, he wouldn't lay down all day and was shaking like your dog was. She took him to the vet and they did an X-Ray, that showed he inhaled a small bone that was somehow pressing against his heart, and he had something in his stomach that he ate. The had to go in with a scope and fish everything out and keep him on intravenous for a couple days. In the mean time they were looking at the X-Rays and noticed he has severe hip displacia??. So that required more X-Rays that had to be certified in order to go after the breeder. We are now waiting to see if he's gonna be ok. He can't have hip surgery till he's 2 years old, and if the results come back worse then we think, we may have to put him down. We're both pretty sad about the whole thing considering he's a great dog and has a great personallity. So that was $5500 in the last month including the price of the dog that came out of my "Cuda Funds", and we may have to put him down.

I wouldn't think twice of paying a couple hundred dollars a month to keep poor Enzo going..lol, but may not get that lucky.

LOL Redline, I guess my little wrestler girl left quite the impression on her Uncle Redline!  Muggsey and Vixxen send kisses to the Davis family.

1Badfish, I hope everything is OK with Enzo.  I have met a lot of pups that had hip displasia early in life (before 1 year) and they are all ok.  I have heard that they can't have the surgery until they are full grown.  Please let us know what happens.  Enzo is a beautiful dog.  I'll be praying for you guys.
