Fan Shroud Mounting Help
« on: November 16, 2005 - 11:26:27 PM »
I am trying to get my radiator ready to install. When I got my 71 cuda it did not have a fan shroud.  I was able to pick up one from ebay but I am at sort of a loss for how it mounts.  Can anyone shed some light on what nuts or bolts I am missing.  I  had four holes in the radiator and four holes in the shroud.  I have checked all of my mopar resto supply catalogs but no one seems to list anything for the shroud mounting. Thanks again.  Ed

Here is a picture of my fan shroud bolted to the radiator and the other picture is the u-nuts and bolts need to attach the fan shroud to the radiator. The u-nuts just push on the 4 spots on the radiator so the bolts have something to screw into. Hope this helps.

71340RT,

Thanks a bunch.  That is just what I needed.  I wasn't sure if there were some sort of threaded studs that got mounted to the radiator with cap nuts or what.  Now I see exactly what I need to get.  Thanks again...Ed

Guy,

Thanks for the link.  I found them there plus a lot of other hard to find parts. This could get expensive....lol
