thereis a anti rattle clip on the newer style as well , it is clearly marked in the service amnual diagram posted above

Yeah I've got another clip, looks like it was made from a coathanger. So if I'm getting this right I don't need those little clips underneath my caliper bolts or pins (whatever they are called) on my floating setup? No wait, I went back and looked again, mine does take those because I have the floating setup with caliper pins. I still don't know how to position them though. This is a pain.

That thought has occured to me too, WTF I'm not gonna hear em over "3 pipes anyhoo. I'm not sure about the importance of the other clips though. I'm tempted to leave them off.
