I've got to agree with 70cuda, no green primer on my Hamtrack built 71 Cuda. It has a brownish red
primer that shows in the interior portion of the body and a dark gray under the paint on all the
exterior panels. Blackout in the front behind the grill was painted with the fenders installed but
NOT the radiator. I think with the sometimes marginal cooling (overheating) problems these cars had
from new, the last thing they would want is yet another coating of paint on the radiator! Blackout was also
applied at this time to the rocker panels and lower edges of the front fenders(behind the wheel well opening) the line hidden under the rocker molding pieces.   Jeff
