    I have ordered a set of connectors from USCarTool for my 70 Chally convertible - my car has about an inch of bottom undercoating - what is the best to get this gunk off before welding the connectors?

    A $20 heat gun and a chisel/paint scraper worked for me.

    I was looking at using these rails but after looking at the pictures I have a question! How does the emergency/hand brake fit with those rails in the way?

    John, the owner of USCarTool had a very simple solution for that but it was so simple I really don't even remember -sometimer's disease - sorry
