Just Bought New Book
« on: December 02, 2005 - 08:32:22 PM »
Today, I bought Mopar Muscle Fifty Years by Robert Genat. Couldn't care if the story is any good. Pictures are awesome. Trying to build a little Mopar/muscle car library. Anyone else seen this book yet.

Rob was this the book with a Green E body on the cover.  I cant remember if it was a Sub lime TA or maybe a cuda.  I think I might have seen the book before.

JS27,

What was wrong with the cars? I think all of us would be inclined to know what wrong with them for those of us who aren't gurus.

Okay let me give you an example, I'm not picking on the owners car, but there has to be nicer example out there.
look at page 232. Does that front fender have some issues or is it just me? I believe it also has a 72 front bumper on it(jack slots)

pg 220, were these rallyes available in 68?

It is minor and petty I know, but if someone buys the book and figures the pics are gospel at to how the cars should look is that doing the hobby a good thing? I would love a tutorial book from the judging at the national car shows at to what is, why is, correct concerning each model and the discrepencies as to the cars production date as to what can and can't be correct.

That would be awesome.  Maybe you have an idea that you can sell to someone who makes car books (or a publisher)????  I know many people who would run out and buy that.
