    Does anyone know of a place that will rebuild outside door handles? As you can see mine need to be redone. If I tacke the job myself are parts available? Has any one done the rehab on there handles

    Richard, looks like they only need cleaning up and perhaps greased on the back side.    Before I would pay someone $60 bucks or so I would buy new old stock for about $170.    Nothing beats new original....

    E=Mail the picture of the handles and what work you want done to gdaddio@videotron.ca I sure he will be able to give you a price.

    I purchased these as they had they right numbers and curve for the chally. I looked for NOS but they all have been the universal fit for Cudas and Challys which will leave the gap at the top.

    Thanks for the info . I just talked with Jules and I will be sending out my handles to be refurbished. Sine I'm doing a ground up resto I want them to be just right. A little on the pricey side but he will re-chrome them and replace the rubber components.

    Trop,

    Did you know that Mopar Performance Parts sells new door handles for Challys and Cudas.  At $85 each I would say that would be the way to go unless you are going for total originality.  Just my two cents...  Ed

    I am looking to keep the original items on the car and from what I understand the new handles do not folllow the curves of the body like the original ones and you will be left with a gap at the top of the handle. The ones that fit the Cuda and Challengers will not fit corretly which is why I needed the handles specific to the 70.
    If I could not have found the originals ,your right that is the way I could go

    Like others I was thinking of either cleaning mine up or purchasing <supposedly> new old stock.   Richard how much were your quoted for the refurbish........  I am open minded perhaps its the way to go....thanks

    $310.00 which includes shipping Dis-assemble replacement of worn parts( rubber ppieces etc) I know its alot of cash but I want them to fit the car. I had one broken handle on the passenger side and found this pair on e-bay for  about $100.00
