I've also had trouble where I can't get on but later it lets me get right on.

I think we're talking about two different things here.  There was a problem with our home page where for some unknown reason the system will insert a charachter in the file that renders the homepage useless.  With this error, you willl see an "Error" message sort of like when the site went down a few weeks ago.

The other problem occurs when the server gets a little busy and you'll see a "try again later" screen.  Usually you can just try again and it works.
