    windshield wash circuit breaker location?

    My wiper motor does not work (not that i'll ever need 'em but....).
    The owners manual says that, along with the headlites the wshield washers are protected by circ.brkrs. instead of fuses.
     where would these circuit breakers be located and do they have manual resets? or more likely they're automatic reset so do they go bad?

    check to see if you have power to the wiper motor first , if you have power the circuit breaker isn`t the problem , more likely the motor itself , often just disassembling them & cleaning them will get them working again , typically the wipers get stuck try to get over the chropme strip at the bottom of the windshield & burn out trying to park

    how would you check power at the motor?
     i have not looked at it much yet, but assume it's that piece on the drivers side firewall with all the wires exposed on the face of it.?

    If you don't have an electrical meter, use a 12 Volt test light.   :2cents:

    i have a fluke meter. lookin for more specific like which terminals. maybe all this is obvious once i look closer..

    Not sure but I believe that the different settings (low, high) have different voltages.  They should only have 2 terminals.  Maybe even one if it grounds through the housing.  If it isn't already posted by the time I get home, I will look at my wiring diagram and see if it shows.  Good luck! I know how it is fixing that stupid small stuff. (like my left fender blinker that only works when it feels like it!)   :pullinghair:

    great stuff there, I can use that info too. On a similar note, has anyone bought one of these NOS 3-speed wiper motors off Ebay? They claim that the plug can be changed out to work on an Ebody. Part number is 3799120 and is actually for Volare-Aspen. May still be available thru Ma Mopar but there is a guy on Ebay selling them for $100/ea

    they sure look nice  :thumbsup:

    Those will not work on 70 - mid/late 71 cars without a transmission change. The driveshaft on those are smaller.

    '72-74's will have to have the plug changed out and the gear (park) reset to the E body setting.
