WTB: Console for Ebody (AT)

actually only need the top portion as mine just needs too much work. Could also use latch for the console compartment (prefer non keyed). Console Needs to be black for automatic car. Will buy or have plenty of parts to swap.

Hey Mike, I have a 4 speed and I recently purchased a "previously loved" auto console and a repro 4 speed top plate which means I have an original auto top plate that I don't need.  It needs the woodgrain replaced for sure but I'm pretty sure there are no pits or anything to the metal.  Let me know and if that's what you're looking for I'll go out to the shop and take some pics for you.

Hey Romi- thanks for the response; my top plate is good. Its the top half of the console that is cracked and abused. Actualy I have spent the afternoon massaging it and I may be able to go with it after all. At a minimum though I'll need a latch. Am watching a couple on Ebay and we'll see if I get lucky

No biggie - actually I did some repairs on it and it looks pretty good now. Will be good enough for my needs. Thanks for responding and going thru all the trouble
