got my challenger back check out the pics
« on: December 23, 2005 - 09:36:43 AM »
Hi Guys. About 7 years ago I was pulled over(stopped) in my challenger (70 R/T 440 6 pack) for going over the speed limit by a little over 100mph over the posted limit, with the ticket I recieved and facing jail time I sold my challenger. Well today I am getting it back for what I sold it for. The new owner put on some funky slot dish mags with the wrong offset air shocks filled to the max and a go wing.all of which will be coming off, lucky for me he kept the original rally rims beauty ring and caps. He did add new aluminum mopar performance valve covers and a march serpintine belt setup. the car has been sitting for 4 years so there will be some work to do to make it road worthy again.
At least its back where it belongs, I will post some before and after pics of it when I get it at the house.

That's pretty lucky that you were able to get it back for the same price too, especially with the money in mods the guy had in it. Had the tables turned & now he needed money?

Congrats on getting it back!

Getting your Challenger back is great news. I have been trying to buy my first Challenger RT back for 15 years with no luck but you never know I may still get it back. Keep us posted with pictures and up dates.

Lucy, move over. Another Vanishing Point car. Too cool.

The Nash Metropolitan looks like shes in pretty good shape also. I always thought those cars were unique looking. Did anyone see the blown Nash on Automaniacs?
