Painting a dash frame

How did everyone paint there dash frame? Did you have them paint it when they painted the car or some other way? Mine looks kinda dingy and would like to freshen it up but I really don't want to take it to a body shop to have it painted.

I had my dash frame, ashtray door, and glove box door powdercoated satin black. Very little of the frame shows once all is installed.

Also had my steering column parts done the same way

Workin on that stuff now, hate to admit it, but semi gloss spray bombs are being tried on those parts? Rich.

I used satin Black on them.  I bead blasted them and sprayed them before installing them in the car.

I have powdercoated them in the past , looks great

what about painting them the body color, has anybody done that?

I also powdercoated my frame. Looks good and hard to scratch-not that I try.

I too am in the process of cleaning up my dash ...I'm sending the dash pad to "Just Dashes".they're out 10 weeks...i thought I'd spend the time cleaning up the rest...I sanded, primed and sprayed the dash frame.  I think it will turn out well. (semi gloss black).
