70Cuda:
I looked at my doors that do not have interior panels on them. There were some number/letter sequences stamped on the doors, but nothing that looked like a Chrysler part number. I don't know if they are date codes. The numbers didn't seem to match the following part numbers taken out of Paul Herd's book "Chrysler Muscle Car Part Interchange Manual 1968-1974":
2934748/2934749 Rt/Left 1970 Barracuda doors
3482958/3482959 Rt/Left 1971 Barracuda doors
3611888/3611889 Rt/Left 1972-1973 (1973 built before 11/15/72) Barracuda
3684236/3684237 Rt/Left 1973-1974 (1973 built after 11/15/72) Barracuda
Paul Herd says that there is no difference between doors from different body styles, but I would bet there is a different part number for the convertible door (I'm sure the door had tapped or machined threads by the latch to receive the black plastic wedge and it's two screws). I can't imagine an assembly line worker taking the time to drill and or tap the door for this convertible-only modification (I have found several errors in Paul Herd's books). But, in the end, all 70-74 doors, regardless of body style, will interchange (but not all glass). By the way, the late '73 through '74 doors had a side impact bar added to the inside of the doors. Hope this helps you out.
