started fixing my 70 challenger
« on: January 10, 2006 - 05:07:26 PM »
Well today I got the rims changed out to the stock ralley rims got rid of the air shock for some KYBs and started on the engine(carbs) It has sat so long the two out carbs were gummed closed and the center carb had the power valve put in backwards. now im waiting for the carbs to soak over night and get them good and clean then I can start reasembeling. after the rain lets up it gets a good washing maybe buff it out and wax it if the weather holds up.
Will post some more picks after its washed.

Got the carbs all cleaned and put back together. the power valve was in backwards and whoever did it had to cut off one of the alignment pins to get it in. Grandson just woke up so I wont be testing and tuning it today. tough watching sick grandkids.

Anxious to see your pic's of the car. Those six-packs can be tricky to get in tune and run right. My choke is screwy right now. Will get it right in the spring. :grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:
