'71-'74 repop side mirrors
« on: January 31, 2006 - 08:45:34 AM »
Has anyone bought any?  How is the quality?  I have heard of only one supplier...but there has to be more.  Anyone know who sells them?  I need a set for my '74 and rechroming costs 500.00.  :22yikes:

Thanks,
Dan

I've seen them. The quality is cheap IMO.. esp underneath. The chrome is cheap as well. Hey, $500 is alot of money.. so it all depends on your budget.

DW,

I am going through the same scenario. Chroming costs are crazy...Here are two companies that sell the repops...www.pglassic.com and www.shakerhood.com (the website doesn't show them yet but Ben said they will be ready in about a month).  I bought a repop luggage rack from PG Classic and I am waiting for my fender gills.  The chrome shop wanted $80 each gill x 8 = ouch! For now, repop is the answer until I hit the lottery...
