Just remember, like the rising prices of cars, the parts are going up also. So that 71 Cuda grille that cost $1000 3 years ago is now worth $3000. The longer you wait, the more $$ you'll spend. You might get lucky and  repo part will come out that is cheaper, but thats a crapshoot at best.

thanks for the advice guys/gals! i really hope to have it done before then but im trying to be realistic!! oh yea remember the old 68 polara i was talkin about a few months back! i found it again its for sale again! 100 bucks last time it was 50! im gonna try to get it this time for the motor its a 383 car!

Kev, sounds like your on the right track, but like some have pointed out in the end it will cost ya about 1/4 t0 1/3 more, it always does? And like Matt 63 said, you can buy some of the items you need direct, Y1 and Poddock etc. they have suppliers too. Any speed/performance parts I'd recommend Summit here in Ohio, they are a great source IMO.
