What is this trim on my front valence?
I may be schizophrenic,

On a 71, your's should be a 2 piece set like mine. It looks to me like someone put a 72-74 piece on there. It is one solid piece, but they must have had a devil of a time getting it to fit if that's the case.

I have a 72-74 trim piece on my 70 valance.  No issues.

If the chrome is nice its worth around 75$ on eBay.

The front valance is all the same for 70-74 isnt it ?   The rear vallance is different though ?  Licence plate bracket....

Robb,
That's a good question. I really didn't think that front trim piece was interchangable. Trying to be a cheap arse, I did buy a 72-74 piece, but it just didn't fit right. I can't remember if the holes lined up or anything, but I seem to think they didn't. When I finally did splurge for the 70-71 type, I had no trouble. Maybe the only difference is where the screw holes are???  :dunno: Anyone else out there know???

The two-piece trim was on ebay a few times within the last couple of months and each time went for between $350 - $450...used.
