OPPORTUNITY 1973 Challenger parts, 2 340 motors, one six pack
« on: January 11, 2004 - 11:16:52 PM »
I have a chance to buy a 1973 Challenger parts car. It has an RT hood in great shape, nice black slap stick console, rally dash, spare door, good front valance, decent grille, decent LF fender, good tailight panel with lights. complete black interior (front seats have tears)3:11 posi, 727, and two 340 engines. The body is kind of rough.  It also has a nice set of cragars and new tires. One engine has stock manifolds the other has headers (nice hooker with great mufflers) Good glass all around.  Passenger doorfender and qtr side swipped. It also comes with two new aftermarket QRT skins.

engine: Stock 340 runs good has aftermarket alum intake and carb with stock carb. Complete from aircleaner to oil pan

Second engine: Stock 340 with factory six pack intake, carbs and complete aircleaner assembly (OEM)  Runs very good.

If there is enough interest in these parts I will buy the car and part it out. Car and parts are in Columbus Ohio.  $5,000 buys everythging.  Let me know netincom@ameritech.net

All parts are in Columbus Ohio.  The 340 Motors would depend on which one you want or more spcifically which intake.  Both run great. One is on a stand and one is on a tire stack but both could be started or checked out by a mechanic.  The guy had the standard 340 with four barrel in the car but he had an old six pack from his AAR days. So he built a non aar engine, put the six pack on top with the aar aircleaner, bought a RT hood so it would fit underneath and was going to do the swap during the restoration, BUT he ruined his leg and can't work (no $$) and can't work on the car.  Both motors can be bolted right in after detailing and run as-is with plenty of power and no problems.

340 with factory 4bbl intake complete from carb to oil pan and starter to alternator and fan $1,400

340 with high performance aluminum intake and new carbcomplete from carb to oil pan and starter to alternator and fan $1,600

340 with factory six pack with original carbs, linkage and AAR aircleaner with stand $3,400

No it is one of those new skins that come up to the body line. The car does have a good spare door shell for ther right side.

well, it's the body line (lip) that really took the most damage so that's why i need full panels.

let me know how much you'd let that door shell go for but only if it's the full passenger side outer door.

thanks

Have you bought this car?
If so do you have the grill?
Can you send pics of the grill and price?
