68 Barracuda Sound Clip w/ 340
«

Well I decided to play with my camera and ended up with this sound/video clip of my exhaust. It sounds pretty good before the rebuild which I have yet to do. The only downside is I can't hear the upper end of the exhaust, it has a fairly radical cam and sounds really nice. I love it! Just wish it came through 100%!
Enjoy!

(P.S. - I hope this is the right section for this.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Yep, even a blind man would know that's a Mopar ! And CP when hearing that will probably tell ya if she's running lean or rich
Have ya met him yet? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Yeah I'm sure she's running one way or another
but the engine has a tick at the top end, and it leaks a bit and probably neads freshening up. So I'll be doing that before the winter is over! Then she'll sound and run even better!
Oh, and I've been around CC.com for a while, just have been mostly silent as I've been in school, changing jobs and whatnot. I read and research alot of things, so my questions usually get answered by previous posts. That way I dont have to re-post and look like a jerk!

That sounds good Krazed! I can't wait to get my 340 built!!!!!!! It's going to sound so sweet with some 3" pipes, Flowmaster 40's, and a relatively aggressive build.

I can't wait for you to build your 340 either!
I Love 340's, they're so versitile! Now if I could just find one to hotrod so I don't have to worry about my stock block! Some days I hate living in Alaska, its hard to find things....

the highlight of my Dart is the way it sounds. Its pretty tired, doesn't have much power, lifter ticks, burns oil and leaks oil out of the rear main. and has an electrical problem when i put it away, not running good at all.

I feel your pain brother! Mine ticks, leaks oil, tranny leaks , power steering pump leaks, and it burns some oil too! But the way it sounds just keeps me smiling. Oh, how I love v8's...
