« on: February 09, 2006 - 11:36:57 AM »
For those that are local to the area, Randy @ prostock performance in Edmonton Alberta is building and selling the bottom end girdle kit  for the 440 for quit a bit cheaper than chenoweth racing out of the U.S. I think he told me about 350 Canadian, but give him a call and ask, I allready had mine from chenoweth and over paid. His number is 780 453 6161, tell him Kelly sent ya. Note*..I havent seen what he sells yet, I know they are localy made tho, so you,ll have to find out what all is in his kit.
P.S..     he is also a distributer for BDS blowers...

Curious, do they reccomend an align-hone on the mains for installation, or a bolt-on deal ? Steel or Aluminum ?

Good for RANDY ! Bout time somebody started writing the CNC program for production, he's a smart guy, should be a good piece !

Either way, the bolt-on girdles are a far better/easier deal, than installing the cross-bolt caps on a stock block. THAT SUCKS !

Bin there-done that, what a pain in the rear ! NEVER again !

Even the McCandless 2 bolt billet Aluminum caps weren't as bad as the cross bolts !

Fords use those style girdles on the Small Blocks. Seems to help strengthen them FORD's, from a mere "Cheezie", to a full boogie "Pretzel". But that's a Ford !

Me bad, I go now, sorry Henry.
