Long story short. I got a phone number from a buddy who saw this car for sale. He told me the 340 engine in it was a 340 T/A and heard it run. Yesterday my wife and I drove up to look at the car (74 Duster) and it's a standard 340 block. This engine is healthy and not burning any oil and sounds very strong. The guys name is Alex and could really use the money as he and his wife have a baby on the way. He is near Waterford Mich which is North of Ann Arbor off M-59, exit 67 on 23.
