Where's the saftey standard decal go?

 I'm not sure where the saftey standard decal goes on a '70 Challenger? in the front door jam by the pin switch maybe?

It goes on the back of the driver's side door. Was the car built in LA or Hamtramck?  :dunno:

There are some exceptions, but for the most part each plant mounted them differently.

It's a Hamtramck car.

OK, Hamtramk mounted them horizonatally, and LA vertically for the most part. This link will take you to a photo of the sticker on my T/A;

The stickers were hand applied, so just get it close. The assembly line workers splattered them all over, so just use the photo as a rough guide. Lots of them were put on crooked.  ;)

 I must have called it the wrong thing I guess, I have that one in place but there's another one that's black and says something about the production saftey act.

I can try but I'm not sure I'm computer smart enough to get it done. it's smaller than the VIN sticker you posted and is black with a silver border. it says that the vehicle conforms to the safety standards act under public law 89-563.  year one says they go on all 68-70's above the door swich but I was checking to see if that's correct,  if you aren't sure what I'm talking about I'm wondering if I'm even supposed to have one.

I think my '67 Barracuda has one, but the door on it is frozen shut. I do remember masking it off once though....

The sticker is not correct for 1970.

 Thanks, that would make sense because it would be redundant since it's already on the VIN sticker. this isn't the first time Yearone has been wrong .
