I've been there!

I created the web site too. We're working on getting more content in the site but not much is happening until after the Mopar Nationals.

The collection is located in Southern California and Steve does open it up to enthusiasts when he can and it's well worth a visit. The pictures just aren't the same as walking in there and being surrounded by so much stuff. Steve is a great guy and loves talking about everything in there.

WoW Nick!  Nice job on the tour.  very very impressive.  did you take the pictures? they are great.  ever think about turning them into posters?  or puzzels?  that would be a cool item,, and based on those richly covered walls, a real challenge to complete.!   Again,  thanks for the great work!

Thanks for the comments. I took almost all of the pictures on the site and I have a couple hundred more to work with. The Diamante hasn't been there since I've been doing the site so I'll take new pictures of it next month.

The puzzle idea is fun. Can you imagine what it took to get all that stuff arranged? Steve and his wife and friends did it all.

I was walking around Carlise last year after the article came out in the collector's guide and while wondering by to renew my subscription, a guy came up and started flipping through the mag with that article and joked to the girl (for some good reason they always have hot girls in the boths) that the picture didn't look much like him.  Yes, it was Steven wondering around with his buddy Tony D. (from Tony's Parts).  Nice guys.  After realizing I probably wouldn't get the opportunity again, I grabbed one of the complementary issues and Steven and Tony both signed it for me.  Carlise is great, if you've never been there go - and take the family, they are setup for it.

I remember that Steven commented on a TV show (American Muscle Car I think) that Carlise was the only place he'll take his cars and I recognized several of them from going through the tour.  Of course, he can't take everything there so if he really opens up the museum to the public, that would be great.
