You're welcome FC. Just to clarify the above #'s : The Victor was 10hp better than the SD all things being equal...same carb, headers, timing etc... The 560hp # was using a different carb (hp 950) which this engine combo seemed to like. Sometimes an hp carb won't show any improvement in power #'s.....just depends on the build. I wanted to point out the discrepency in power between the 2 Victor pulls i noted above.
As for 8pack ; there are a number of good manifold choices for this type of build. TM7, SD, Team G, M1 would all work nicely and still clear the hood. Any of these will move enough air for that mill....the 906's will be the bottleneck.
