The local car club had a little cruise in at the Sonic. We had a good time, everyone left a little after 8. The blue 67 Buick special, 260 ci V8 powered, caught up to me at a red light, and began to rev. I looked over, grinned, and gunned it as the light turned green. He spun the tires a little as we took off. We went up to 40 mph (speed limit was 35, so not to bad), with me ending up half a car length ahead. Just goes to show that a 3000 lb car powered by a 273 IS faster than a 3500 lb car powered by a 260.
