fuel tank pad
« on: February 18, 2006 - 03:50:00 PM »
I am looking for a original type of fuel tank pad the tar and paper variety. I know I found them at a site before but now that I want it I can't find it. Can anyone help? I am trying to stay away from the rubber ones.

This is like roof tar paper and even says that on there web site. Maybe we could all make our own and save some money.

Unless PCG changed material in the last year or so it is roofing paper.  I can not think of anything they sell that is done like the original.

The one I pulled off the car was like a heavy roofing paper. Does somebody make one that is like the original?
