Someone has to do something about this!
« on: February 18, 2006 - 11:50:40 AM »
 :canada:

Found this poor Challenger parked on the side of the street (Kingsway & 11th ) in Vancouver, BC.  It's tags expire March 7 so it will probably be towed away by the city.
I don't have any $$ so I can't do a thing, but surely someone out there can.   I wouldn't know how to go about finding the owner even if I was in a position to do anything.  You can see the plate # so if you have the connections to track down the  owner, go for it.
It has 86000 miles on the odometer and judging by what I could see of the interior, that is reasonable.  The car looks BAD, but it is all there and just needs some TLC and money.  Top is good, glass is all there and good, trim, bumpers, hood all look pretty good.
The license plate is sitting on the dash and covers the VIN, so no details there :hyper:.  The ignition has not been punched, despite the screwdriver on the seat, so I don't think it is stolen.
PLEASE  someone do a rescue on this one.

I laughed my a$$ off when I looked at that last pic. The car itself looks to be in decent condition, but I wouldnt want to fix all the rigged-up stuff. I still cant believe that last picture.......

Yep, the last shot is pretty funny, that really is a chunk of 3/4 X  2 iron bar!.

(The picture of the grass growing out from under the front tires didn't work out but it was pretty funny too!)

Wow, that car has quite the rake to it.  I hope this wasn't a back up car for the film "Out Cold". :bricks1: :22yikes:  (for those who never saw it before, they use a '71-74 B-body, Charger or RR?, that's lifted in the rear like that and had a huge snow blade on the front.) :hyper:

I'm about 4 to 5 hours away.  I'd go get it and give the owner money.... But I'm not sure how to find the owner?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I've seen the pic of that car before. I think that there is another one sitting right by that one.
