the 308 heads look basically stock & use stock rockers & shafts , older cams & all LA cams will work with the 308 heads as well

CP - so if I find any ....308's 87-82, they are bolt on applications? How about stock alt bolt on etc?

Also, in your oppinion, w/o they are better than x or J 2.02 heads unported also? Man I could save a bundle.. In other words I am really interested to hear the details. thanks in advance.

I believe they are still better even unported but I have always proted them , I do not crazy about removing a ton of metal though ,ore just cleaning them up , I do open the exhuast port up though
 they are completly bolt on , rocker shafts & rockers , intakes, exhaust manifolds & all mounting bosses are identical
