Turn signal housing

is there a place where you can buy the turn signal housing? to be more clear its the metal piece that holds the socket. the wires on mine are in terrible condition and the socket itself has rust and corrosion in it. so if anyone knows where to buy new ones it would help alot.

They don't make repops of those. Just keep an eye on E-Bay. Be careful as each side has a slightly different housing. I had to go down that road once.

I thought I saw on e-bay that the wires leading to the turn-signal are now being re-popped, ( pretty sure by that Canadian outfit " PG Classics " ) housings are not yet available. I might have a front turn-signal housing in my garage - I'll have to look. What side are you looking for?

its the left side that i am looking for. i will look on ebay as well.

Looked in garage for that housing - couldn't find it. Course there's so much stuff in the garage right now that it's like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. Good luck on e-bay. I'll keep looking, if I find it, I'll let you know.

I HAD a rare option cruise control / turn signal arm restored on my replacement 70 challenger column

During shipping and poor packing by restoration shop - after being very adamant about this rare item - and being totally reassured no damage would occur during shipping

I opened my DAMAGED box to find the cruise control / turn signal arm cracked and the turning mechanism in the column broken

Anybody know of a source to replace the cruise control arm - the resto shop - with all his contacts is at a loss & he is very upset at the damage but that does not help my situation

My car is also at the point to be moved to different shops for work without a steering mechanism

Can you post  pic or two as I don't think I've ever seen one with cruise control??

I know the arm is a different length, but I believe the "E-body" cruise control unit is the same as a New Yorker "C-body" unit.  You may be able to put the control unit on your shorter arm.  Please post a pic of your unit.
