I'll be picking up the Cuda from being soda blasted tonight. I found that the driver side was replaced with a NOS Qtr at some point in its life.

 :cooldancing:WOW

The data plate shows that it has white interior.  Are you staying with white interior?.  I bought a 70 Challenger R/T from my brother about a year ago that also had white interior in it.

Good to see another with white interior.  It's going to look great when finished :wow:

Yes, definately staying with white interior. It's hard to keep clean, but it looks awesome and stands out.

 :woohoo:

Outstanding, can't wait to see the finished product. I was told the samething about keeping it clean, but my R/T is FY1 (Top Banana Yellow) and white will look so cool.

Brought the cuda back from being soda blasted....I was not impressed with this type of media blasting. Didn't clean the steel as I was told it would. Now I have extra work to do before I can start the bodywork. Lesson learned and back to plastic media stripping I will go.
Alot of putty was revealed in the fenders as was a 2 fenders made into one option made by some prevoius owner. Thank goodness we went to the swap meet in Columbus Oh. I scored (2) 71 Cuda fenders for a lofty but reasonable price.
Pic (1) is the original fenders. Pic (2) is the new ones from the swap meet.

That is why you get your own media blaster and get to it. I got one from harbor frieght and love the little thing. Now i just need a bigger air compressor. :stomp: Dam thing runs out of air to quickly and can't keep up with the demand at times.
